What is RecBoot
RecBoot is a simple program that initiates the recovery mode on an iPhone. Recovery mode is found deep within iOS. It provides access to the core of the operating system and can be used to solve a number of problems associated with the software. It's not uncommon for users to experience issues after a firmware update. Recovery mode makes it possible to restore the phone to a usable state.
However, accessing the recovery mode is no easy task. It typically requires a unique combination of button presses to activate. RecBoot bypasses this process and initiates the mode with a single press of a button. The streamlined software contains two main buttons. One is used to enter recovery mode while the other is used to exit.
To use the program, users need to connect their iPhone to the computer via a USB cable. Once connected, simply press the "Enter Recovery Mode" button. iOS will then boot in recovery mode, making it possible to resolve any issues. When the problem is fixed, a press of the "Exit Recovery Mode" button will make the phone start up as normal.
